Each 6 lb. bag of PrettyLitter is designed to last up to one month for one medium-sized cat (approximately 10–12 lbs.) using an average-sized litter box (about 12" × 16").
For the best performance and most accurate health-monitoring results, maintain a minimum litter depth of at least 2 inches at all times. Stir the litter daily to help distribute moisture evenly and maximize its lifespan.
What if I have more than one cat?
If you have multiple cats or a larger litter box, your PrettyLitter may need to be replaced more frequently. The lifespan of each bag can vary depending on several factors, including:
- The number of cats using the litter box
- Your cat's size and bathroom habits
- The size of your litter box
- Whether you maintain the recommended 2-inch litter depth
To help extend the life of your litter:
- Scoop solid waste daily.
- Stir the crystals every day to evenly distribute moisture.
- Refill or replace the litter as needed to maintain the recommended depth.
